The isle of Lewis distillery, Geographically lead by the location of the distillery, It is the second farthest west distillery in Scotland with Abhainn Dearg distillery as first. There is significant and real opportunity to branch out and produce other spirits, such as whiskey, rum and liqueur, borrowing their notes from local islands, beaches and other well known island locations to tie in the product to its source. Stamp duty labels have been applied for and all paperwork is in place .Alcohol can be sold in the gift shop and mini gin making courses can be offered to the public. As there is a rectifiers licence, this would allow the buyer to make their own spiced rom or whisky liquer.
